ABB is seeking a skilled engineer to act as a design authority for electrical and automation disciplines within the DCS domain. You will work on small to medium projects, supporting testing, installation, and commissioning while applying design thinking concepts to deliver value.

You will collaborate with teams to prepare proposals and verify designs according to standards. Strong English communication and experience in ABB environments are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in DCS project engineering, application programming, and automation projects/services.
• Strong knowledge of DCS, PLC control systems, instrumentation, I/O hardware, drives, and controller/PLC integration.
• Experience with Profinet, Profibus, Modbus TCP, and OPC.
• Familiarity with ABB tools/ libraries is advantageous.
• Proficient in Windows Server 2019/2022, Windows 10; knowledge of AutoCAD, Visio, VMware/Hyper-V, or Red Hat Linux is a plus.
• Strong English communication skills for project/customer-facing environments.
