Responsibilities

• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare technical documentation, drawings, and project reports.

About the role

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join PT Kokoh Semesta on a contract basis. This is a pivotal role within our engineering team, responsible for overseeing technical aspects of projects from conception through to completion. Based in Cikande, Banten, you will play a crucial part in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position is essential to our operations, directly supporting the successful execution of our engineering initiatives and contributing to the company's growth and reputation in the industry.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects according to specifications, timelines and budgetary constraints
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or delays, implementing corrective actions as necessary
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, drawings, and project reports
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives
• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks to verify compliance with engineering standards and specifications
• Manage project budgets and resources, including labour, equipment, and materials
• Ensure all work adheres to relevant safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during project implementation
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation for future reference

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working as a Project Engineer, Project Control or in a similar project management role
• Proficiency in technical software and CAD programmes commonly used in project engineering
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record of collaborating effectively with diverse teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Sound understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and standards
• Willingness to undertake site-based work and travel when required
• Willingness to be assigned to the Cikande Workshop
