Job summary

Responsibilities

About the role
PT. Arunika Pulin Pratama is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Engineer (MEP) to join our dynamic construction management team. This is a full-time position based in Cakung, Jakarta Raya, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems throughout our construction projects. As a Project Engineer (MEP), you will be responsible for ensuring that all MEP installations meet design specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards whilst maintaining project schedules and budgets.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate MEP installations on-site, ensuring compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, and building codes

Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to verify that MEP systems are installed correctly and meet project standards

Prepare and maintain detailed MEP documentation, including as-built drawings, inspection reports, and progress documentation

Liaise with MEP contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to address technical issues, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely project delivery

Monitor MEP project schedules and budgets, identifying potential delays or cost overruns and recommending corrective actions

Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure proper functionality

Prepare technical reports and performance analyses related to MEP systems and project progress

Collaborate with the project management team, architects, and structural engineers to ensure integrated and coordinated construction activities

Address safety concerns related to MEP installations and promote compliance with health and safety regulations on-site

Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders regarding MEP progress, challenges, and solutions

What we\'re looking for

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field

Minimum 1-2 years of experience working as a Project Engineer or MEP Engineer on construction projects

Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical installations

Proficiency in reading and interpreting MEP drawings, specifications, and technical documentation

Experience with building codes, standards, and regulations relevant to MEP installations in Indonesia

Familiarity with Autocad, Sketchup, and Microsoft Office

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make technical decisions under pressure

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment

Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required
