Beca is seeking a Project Accountant to support project financial management from initiation to close. You will prepare forecasts, dashboards, and financial reports while monitoring budgets and profitability for regional projects.
You will collaborate with project leaders and finance teams, manage invoicing, and contribute to working capital strategies in a fast-paced, professional services environment.

We are looking for a Project Accountant who is passionate about project finance, commercial performance, and partnering with project leaders to deliver successful outcomes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career in a professional services environment while working alongside project managers, technical leaders, and finance professionals. The Opportunity Support project financial management throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare and maintain project financial reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards. Monitor project budgets, revenue recognition, costs, and profitability. Assist project leaders with monthly project reviews and financial performance analysis. Manage client invoicing processes and support working capital initiatives. Monitor WIP, unbilled revenue, and debtor performance to help improve cash flow outcomes. Support project governance, project controls, audits, and compliance activities. Assist with contract administration relating to invoicing, reporting, variations, and budget changes. Provide financial insights and recommendations that support informed decision-making. Build strong relationships with project teams and internal stakeholders to deliver high‑quality financial support.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
2-4 years' experience in Project Accounting, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, or a similar role.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working towards CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification is advantageous.
