Job summary

PT JAPFA FOOD INDONESIA (WONOAYU) is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing activities, ensuring output meets schedule, quality, and delivery requirements. The role emphasizes safety, SOP compliance, and team leadership across shifts.

You will monitor equipment performance, coordinate with maintenance, and drive continuous improvement with QA and production teams. A background in animal feed, food processing, or poultry is preferred, with 2–3 years supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Animal Husbandry, Food Technology, Chemical/Industrial Engineering) is required.
• 2–3 years of supervisor experience in manufacturing, preferably feedmill, food processing, or poultry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Solid understanding of production planning, inventory control, and safety standards (K3, HACCP, GMP).
• Excellent problem-solving and proactive troubleshooting abilities.
• Willingness to work in shifts at PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to meet volume, quality, and delivery targets.
• Lead, train, and motivate production operators and staff while enforcing safety and SOP adherence.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime and resolve issues.
• Regularly inspect the production line to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, inventory records, and shift handovers for management review.
• Ensure compliance with K3, food safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to investigate deviations and implement preventive measures.

• Conduct regular inspections of the production line to identify bottlenecks, minimize waste, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain accurate production reports, inventory records, and shift handovers for management review.
• Enforce strict compliance with occupational health and safety (K3) regulations, food safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control team to investigate product deviations and implement preventive measures.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Husbandry, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of supervisor-level experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the feedmill, food processing, or poultry industry.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse production team.
• Solid understanding of production planning, inventory control, and manufacturing safety standards (K3, HACCP, or GMP).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and process optimization.
• Willingness to work in shifts and be placed at PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk's operational sites.
