Job summary

JAPFA is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring output meets scheduled volumes and quality standards. You will lead and train a diverse team, monitor equipment performance, and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–3 years of supervisor experience in manufacturing. Shifts are required at PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk sites, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Husbandry, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of supervisor-level experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in feedmill/food/poultry sectors.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of production planning, inventory control, and manufacturing safety standards (K3, HACCP, GMP).
• Excellent problem-solving skills with proactive troubleshooting and process optimization.
• Willingness to work in shifts and be placed at Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk sites.

• Lead, train, and motivate operators and staff, ensuring safety protocols, SOPs, and company policies.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime and resolve issues.
• Inspect production line to identify bottlenecks, minimize waste, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, inventory records, and shift handovers for management.
• Enforce compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to investigate deviations and implement preventive measures.

• Collaborate with the Quality Control team to investigate product deviations and implement preventive measures.
