Job summary

PT Eagle Sporting Goods in Indonesia's East Java region (Nganjuk) seeks a Garment Product Development Lead to drive end‑to‑end development across golf bags, towels, umbrellas, headcovers, and lifestyle bags. You will manage teams and coordinate with QA, Engineering, and PD to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Bachelor's in a related field with 3–5 years in garment product development, proficiency in Illustrator/Photoshop, strong costing knowledge, and leadership

Qualifications

• Requires Diploma or Bachelor's in a related field.
• 3–5 years in garment product development.
• Experience from design to production lifecycle.
• Ability to read and create tech packs, patterns, grading, and fittings.
• Proficient with Illustrator/Photoshop for product development.
• Strong costing/materials knowledge and QCD targets.
• Proven leadership across departments; problem-solving mindset.
• English proficiency required; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage team workload across product categories (golf bags, towels, umbrellas, headcovers, lifestyle bags).
• Conduct weekly factory line audits and WIP reviews for first production runs.
• Coordinate spot checks of ongoing production for all products.
• Sign off on gold seal samples with QA and Development.
• Lead post-production reviews and continuous improvement with QA, Engineering, and PD.
• Maintain library of gold seal samples, tech packs, and approved construction details.
• Train factories on complex construction processes or proto-stage changes.
• Escalate production issues with root-cause analysis and solutions.
• Lead PQ meetings with Customer Engineer and QA/IE for approvals and CAP/CAR.

• 3–5 years of experience in garment product development
• Strong understanding of the product development process from design to production
• Ability to create and interpret tech packs, patterns, grading, and fitting
• Proficient in design software (Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop)
• Good knowledge of costing, materials, and QCD targets (Quality, Cost, Delivery)
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate across departments
• Detail-oriented with good communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Mandarin is considered an advantage
• Active proficiency in English, both written and spoken
