About the role

Swarna Hutama Loka (SHL) is seeking a Production Planning & Control specialist to join our Production Department. This is a full-time position based in East Denpasar, Bali. As Production Planning & Control specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimising our production processes, managing schedules, and ensuring efficient resource allocation across our architectural and design projects. This position is fundamental to maintaining our project timelines, controlling costs, and delivering exceptional quality to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive production schedules for design and architecture projects, ensuring alignment with client deadlines and resource availability
• Monitor project progress and production workflows to identify potential delays or bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate with design and architecture teams to ensure realistic project planning and resource allocation
• Track production metrics and key performance indicators to measure efficiency and identify areas for improvement
• Prepare detailed production reports and forecasts for management review
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project status, timelines, and any risks or issues that may impact delivery
• Optimise production processes to reduce waste, improve turnaround times, and enhance overall operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications throughout the production cycle
• Collaborate with finance and production teams to control costs and maintain budget adherence

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in production planning and control, preferably within the architecture, design, or construction industry
• Strong knowledge of production scheduling software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis for tracking and reporting
• Solid understanding of architectural and design processes, timelines, and resource requirements
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in schedules and resource allocations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability adapt to changing priorities and requirements
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to develop practical solutions to production challenges
