Job summary

PT Suntech Plastics Industries Batam is seeking a Production Manager/Assistant Manager to lead manufacturing operations at our Batam facility. You will develop and implement production plans, schedules, and strategies to meet objectives while ensuring safety and efficiency.

You will supervise production staff, hire and train when needed, maintain SOPs, enforce policies, and drive continuous improvements. Experience in injection molding is preferred, along with strong English, Mandarin and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or Industrial/Mechanical/Mechatronic or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in injection molding.
Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Indonesian.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and strategies to meet objectives.
Monitor production processes for safety and efficiency; identify improvements.
Supervise production staff including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
Maintain and enforce SOPs and company policies.
Oversee equipment updates and follow up on recommendations.
Troubleshoot and adjust machine equipment as needed.
