As the Production & Operational Manager, you will lead the core execution engine of our company, driving technical production, venue operations, and project delivery across high-profile exhibitions, MICE events, and custom construction setups. You will be responsible for translating complex technical drawings into physical reality, managing workshop production, supervising on‑site installations and dismantlings, and directing cross‑functional operational teams. If you are a seasoned leader with a strong technical background, high accountability, and the ability to command large‑scale event operations under tight deadlines, we want you to lead our team.
Minimum Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, Event Management, Operations Management, Business Management, or related fields.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in event production, MICE, exhibition, production house, brand activation, exhibition contractor, interior contractor, construction contractor, or other project‑based industries. (MICE/Exhibition Contractor Background is preferred)
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial position.
Proven experience managing large‑scale events, exhibitions, conferences, corporate events, international projects, or construction projects.
Strong understanding of event production, technical production, site management, installation, and dismantling.
Experienced in managing vendors, subcontractors, workshop production teams, and on‑site crews.
Strong project planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource management, and problem‑solving skills.
Able to read and thoroughly understand technical drawings (AutoCAD/Architectural/Structural plans) and production requirements.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, crisis management, and decision‑making skills.
Familiar with project management or ERP systems.
High level of accountability, discipline, integrity, and meticulous attention to detail.
Willing to work flexible hours (including weekends and public holidays during project setups) and travel when required by project needs.
End‑to‑End Production & Operations Leadership: Lead, plan, and direct all technical production, workshop operations, and on‑site execution for exhibition and MICE projects.
On‑Site Management & Execution: Oversee site setup, construction, booth installation, quality control, and dismantling operations at exhibition venues to ensure flawless project delivery.
Technical & Drawing Interpretation: Analyze architectural/technical drawings and material specifications to guide workshop crews and sub‑contractors on precise build requirements.
Project Scheduling & Budgeting: Develop comprehensive project timelines using Microsoft Project, manage production budgets (RAB/RABK), and monitor cost realization to maximize profitability.
Vendor & Subcontractor Management: Select, negotiate with, and supervise vendors, sub‑contractors, structural teams, and field labor to maintain high workmanship standards and safety protocols.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with design, project management, sales, estimating, and logistics teams to solve complex technical challenges and meet client requirements.
Quality & Safety Assurance (HSE): Enforce strict quality control procedures, safety standards, and venue regulations across all workshop and on‑site build phases.
Team Supervision: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of operational supervisors, technicians, and site crews to foster a culture of discipline and operational excellence.
