Job summary

PT Samudra Dyan Praga is seeking an On-Site Graphic Design Support to bridge design concepts with live exhibition execution. You will ensure booth branding, wall wraps, banners, signages, and backdrops are printed, scaled, and installed per production drawings at various venues.

The role emphasizes hands-on field work, reading AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Illustrator, and coordinating with vendors and installers. Willingness to deploy to ICE BSD, JCC, JIExpo and work flexible hours is required.

Qualifications

• SMK Grafis/Teknik graduate or Diploma/Bachelor in Graphic Design/Interior Design.
• Hands-on site work preferred; events, exhibitions, or printing experience is a plus.
• Strong ability to read AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Illustrator; practical installation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• On-Site Graphic Support: supervise physical installation of exhibition graphics at venues.
• Drawing & Scale Verification: read AutoCAD files and verify print dimensions against live measurements.
• Print & Material Checking: inspect color, resolution, finish, and damage on site before installation.
• Vendor & Installer Guidance: coordinate with sub-contractors, printing vendors, and field crews.
• On-Ground Troubleshooting: identify and report installation discrepancies for rapid fixes.
• Dismantling Oversight: assist in safe removal and cleanup after the event.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an On-Site Graphic Design Support, you will be the key operational link between design concepts and physical, on-site execution at exhibition venues. Supporting our Graphic Supervisor, your primary responsibility is not sitting behind a desk creating artwork, but ensuring that all booth brandings, wall wraps, banners, signages, and backdrops are correctly printed, scaled, and installed according to production drawings. You will cross-check technical drawings against live venue dimensions, oversee print vendor installations, and solve practical visual issues under tight event setup deadlines.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education: Open to Vocational High School (SMK Grafis/Teknik) graduates with relevant field experience, or Diploma (D3) / Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design (DKV), Interior Design, or related fields.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply! (Experience in events, exhibitions, or printing houses is a strong plus).

Core Software Competency: Practical ability to operate AutoCAD (for reading technical drawings & checking layout measurements), Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator (for verifying artwork files, scale, and print specs).

Field-Oriented Mindset: Strong preference for active, hands-on site work at exhibition venues rather than back-office design tasks.

Material & Installation Knowledge: Good understanding of graphic materials (sticker vinyl, flexi banner, acrylic, hi-res printing, foam core) and practical installation methods (wrapping, mounting, banner tensioning).

Eye for Detail: High accuracy in comparing actual venue setups against approved design mockups and technical drawings.

High Mobility & Flexibility: Willingness to be deployed directly to exhibition venues (e.g., ICE BSD, JCC, JIExpo) and work flexible hours, including overnight setup shifts and weekends.

Active Communication: Good communication and coordination skills to interact smoothly with supervisors, printing vendors, and field installers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

On-Site Graphic Support: Assist the Graphic Supervisor in supervising the physical installation of exhibition graphics, booth brandings, stickers, backdrops, and signages at event venues.

Drawing & Scale Verification: Read AutoCAD drawings and design files (Photoshop/Illustrator) to cross-check print dimensions and placements against live venue measurements.

Print & Material Checking: Inspect printed materials on-site for color correctness, resolution, finishing quality, and damage prior to installation.

Vendor & Installer Guidance: Assist in guiding sub-contractors, printing vendors, and field crews to ensure clean, bubble-free, and precise graphic application (such as sticker wrapping and banner mounting).

On-Ground Troubleshooting: Identify and report installation discrepancies or material defects immediately to ensure rapid on-site corrections.

Dismantling Oversight: Support the team in monitoring the safe removal and cleanup of graphic elements after the event concludes.

This is an ON-SITE FIELD ROLE focused on graphic installation, measurement verification, and vendor oversight at exhibition venues.
