Role Description

The Production Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Jambi, responsible for overseeing daily production activities to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations. This role plans and monitors production schedules, coordinates with relevant departments to align materials and resources, and tracks output against targets and quality standards. The Production Controller analyzes production data, identifies variances, and recommends improvements to optimize workflows, minimize downtime, and reduce waste. The role supervises production teams, supports adherence to safety and sustainability policies, and prepares regular reports on production performance for management review.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Production Planning and Production Management skills to coordinate schedules, resources, and output efficiently.
• Candidates should possess solid Supervisory Skills to guide production teams, manage performance, and support a safe and compliant work environment.
• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret production data, identify issues, and recommend process improvements.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and report production results clearly.
• Relevant additional qualifications include experience in manufacturing or agribusiness operations, knowledge of production KPIs, and familiarity with ERP or production monitoring systems.
• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field is preferred, along with the ability to work on-site in Jambi and adapt to a dynamic operational environment.
