Job summary

PT SNF Polymers Indonesia in Cikande, Banten, seeks a Production Supervisor to manage Acrylamide Monomer production operations, assuring safety, efficiency, and reliable plant performance.

You will lead planning, monitor processes, ensure SOP compliance, drive process safety programs, and coach supervisors, with a focus on Lean, TPM, cost optimization, and continuous improvement. Collaboration with QA/QC and Maintenance is essential to meet quality and delivery targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years in the chemical manufacturing industry.
• Minimum 3 years in a Production Supervisor, Senior Production Supervisor, or Assistant Production Manager role.
• Experience with Acrylamide, Acrylonitrile, polymer, petrochemical, chemical processing or specialty chemicals preferred.
• Familiar with Acrylamide Monomer production processes and Acrylonitrile hydration reactions.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting PFDs and P&ID drawings.
• Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM), HAZOP, MOC, RCA, and risk assessment.
• Good understanding of plant utilities (steam, cooling water, nitrogen, instrument air).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and SMK3 requirements.
• Strong analytical, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Job description

Support the overall management of Acrylamide Monomer production operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant performance.

Develop and execute production plans to achieve production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.

Monitor and optimize production processes, including raw material preparation, hydration reaction, process control, product storage, and transfer operations.

Ensure production activities comply with operating procedures, process parameters, and safety requirements.

Lead process safety initiatives, including Process Safety Management (PSM), HAZOP, Management of Change (MOC), Permit to Work, LOTO, incident investigation, and emergency response programs.

Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams to ensure products consistently meet customer specifications.

Drive production cost optimization through effective control of raw materials, utilities, yield, waste reduction, and operational efficiency.

Work closely with the Maintenance team to improve equipment reliability, preventive maintenance effectiveness, and plant uptime.

Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and operators to build a high-performance and safety-oriented culture.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Operational Excellence, and energy-saving programs.

Support the preparation and management of production budgets, CAPEX proposals, and plant improvement projects.

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK3, environmental regulations, and internal company standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of experience in the chemical manufacturing industry.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a Production Supervisor, Senior Production Supervisor, or Assistant Production Manager role.

Experience in Acrylamide, Acrylonitrile, Polymer, Petrochemical, Chemical Processing, or Specialty Chemicals industries is highly preferred.

Familiar with Acrylamide Monomer production processes and Acrylonitrile hydration reactions.

Proficient in DCS/PLC systems and process control operations.

Able to read and interpret PFD and P&ID drawings.

Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM), HAZOP, MOC, RCA, and risk assessment methodologies.
