Job summary

Gently in Indonesia is seeking a Product Development Supervisor to lead and execute product development projects from concept to launch, ensuring timelines, quality, and objectives are met. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, oversee testing and documentation, and drive innovation to deliver high-quality products that meet consumer needs and business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years in product development, R&D, or related functions within FMCG, Personal Care, and Cosmetics industries.
• Experience managing product development projects from concept to commercialization.
• Experience coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with BPOM, Halal, product claims, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned NPD, renovation, export support, and innovation projects from concept to launch.
• Coordinate sample development, user panel testing, stability testing, and project documentation.
• Monitor project timelines and follow up with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare development reports, presentations, and project documentation.
• Review product artworks, claims, and supporting information as assigned.
• Support SOP implementation and process improvement activities.
• Escalate project risks and delays to Assistant Manager and Junior Manager.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Biotechnology, or other related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Product Development, R&D, Innovation, Technical Project Management, or related functions within FMCG, Personal Care, and Cosmetics industries.
• Proven experience managing product development projects from concept to commercialization.
• Experience coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good project coordination and follow-up skills.
• Ability to review product artworks, claims, and product information with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with BPOM, Halal, product claims, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and execution excellence.
• Proactive, responsive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow into a project leadership role.
• Experience in skincare, personal care, baby care, or cosmetics product development.
