Job summary

Apical is seeking a Procurement Operations professional based in North Jakarta to lead end-to-end sourcing for spare parts, pumps, valves, piping, instrumentation, chemicals, and mechanical seals across CPO refineries and oleochemical units.

You will partner with Plant Maintenance and Reliability teams, manage supplier contracts and OEMs, support outages, and drive cost savings through strategic frameworks and optimized inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain required.
• 3+ years of MRO procurement in process industries.
• Deep expertise in SAP MM / ERP and Incoterms.
• Proven track record in outages, turnarounds, and maintenance support.
• Based in North Jakarta (KBN Marunda, Cilincing).

Responsibilities

• Procure spare parts for CPO refineries and unit operations.
• Manage supplier contracts, OEMs, and emergency vendor responses.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams on critical spare strategies.
• Drive cost savings via framework agreements and inventory optimization.

Job description

• Procurement Operations: Execute end-to-end sourcing for spare parts, pumps, valves, piping, instrumentation, chemicals, and mechanical seals for CPO refineries, fractionation, oleochemical, and biodiesel units.
• Vendor and Contract Management: Manage supplier contracts, OEMs, and emergency vendor response during unscheduled downtime
• Inventory & Spare Optimization: Partner with Plant Maintenance & Reliability teams on critical spare strategies and TA sourcing.
• Cost & Performance Tracking: Drive cost savings through Framework Agreements, BPOs, and inventory optimization.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical) or Supply Chain.
• 3+ years of MRO procurement experience in process industries (Palm Oil, Petrochemicals, Chemicals).
• Deep expertise in SAP MM / ERP systems, Incoterms, and supplier negotiations.
• Proven track record supporting process plant outages, turnarounds, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Willing to be based in KBN Marunda, Cilincing area - North Jakarta
