Job summary

The AHA Centre, based in East Jakarta, is seeking a dedicated Procurement Officer to support efficient, compliant procurement for disaster management and emergency response. The role covers planning, tendering, contract administration, supplier management and humanitarian procurement.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and implementing procurement plans and ensuring compliance with policies and donor requirements.
• Ability to manage competitive procurement processes, from RFQs to contract award, with a focus on fairness and value for money.
• Proven track record in contract administration, supplier performance monitoring and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Procurement Planning and Compliance – Develop and update procurement plans; ensure alignment with budgets and schedules.
• Tendering, Evaluation and Contract Award – Manage sourcing, bids, evaluations and award decisions.
• Contract Administration and Supplier Management – Maintain records, monitor performance and manage amendments.
• Emergency and Humanitarian Procurement – Support fast, transparent procurement for disaster response.
• Procurement Systems, Reporting and Continuous Improvement – improve processes and reporting, support ERP tools.
