DSM-Firmenich in Indonesia is seeking an Import & Customs Operations Staff to support exports and imports, handling documentation, declarations, and coordination with freight forwarders. You will ensure timely customs clearance and accurate invoicing while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role requires a strong focus on process accuracy, cross‑functional collaboration with sales, origin, and finance teams, and delivering high service levels in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant expertise area or equal level developed by experience.
• Local language and English required, other languages a plus.
• Min 2 years as Senior Procurement experience strongly preferred.
• Solid experience in chemical logistics/supply chain preferred.
• Negotiation, contracting, demand management and relevant systems savviness / multitasking.
• Effective communication, influencing & motivating others,
• Own and deliver the outcome.

Responsabilités

• Support the development of sourcing strategies for logistics & packaging categories.
• Ensure security of supply at competitive conditions and drive savings.
• Track markets, supply-demand, and regulatory influences.
• Lead competitive tender/RFQ, negotiations, supplier selection and contracting.
• Lead contract implementation and resolve issues with Category lead and Ops team.
• Initiate supplier performance evaluations and drive continuous improvement.
