Job summary

Dell Technologies is seeking a Principal Engineer for the Service Delivery team in Jakarta, Indonesia. You will design, deliver, and automate complex solutions while ensuring reliability and handover materials for ongoing success.

You’ll engage with cross-functional teams, and drive optimization of service delivery costs and customer experience. Ideal candidates have a strong foundation in Windows, Linux, OpenShift, VMware, plus experience with Dell EMC products and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Windows, Linux, OpenShift, and VMware.
• Experience with NVIDIA BCM and Spectrum switches a plus.
• Knowledge of Dell Backup products: Networker, PPDM, Data Domain.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full lifecycle delivery costs meet SLA requirements.
• Coordinate technical solution team activities to meet contractual obligations and provide metrics/reporting.
• Identify and resolve potential issues to prevent customer impact; drive continuous improvement.
• Identify growth and innovation opportunities for the client account.
• Maintain clear, proactive communication with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Ensures that full life cycle delivery costs are within or better than the delivery costs contracted according to the service level agreement

Coordinates the activities of technical solution team members to meet contract obligations and provides complex metrics and reporting support to all relevant stakeholders

Proactively identifies potential issues and drives resolution to avoid customer impact and facilitate continuous improvement

Identifies opportunities for growth and innovation

Builds and sustains effective communications with all stakeholders and cross-functional teams in an effort to maximize the customer experience and relationships

A Strong foundation in the major OS such as Windows, Linux, Openshift and VMWare. Exposure to Nvidia products such as BCM and Spectrum Switches will be a big advantage.

Knowledge in Dell Backup products such as Networker, PPDM and Data Domain will be big advantage.

Knowledge in Kubernetes will be a big advantage and capability to perform hardware installation will be an added advantage.

Good communication and presentation skills and strong command in both English and Bahasa Indonesia communication.

Flexibility in performing tasks out of office hours.

7-8 years of strong exposure in project deployment or management of enterprise infrastructures.

Exposure in the deployment of DellEMC products such as PowerMax, Powerstore, Powerscale, Connectrix, Poweredge, GenAi, Dell Networking Switches (L2) and ECS.
