Following the success of our first school in Jakarta, we are now expanding and opening a new branch in Batam. We are looking for a Preschool Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and eager to create a warm, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for young children.
Key responsibilities
Plan and prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and engaging classroom activities suitable for early years students.
Conduct daily teaching and classroom activities in line with the school's curriculum and schedule.
Support children's individual learning and development through age-appropriate activities and guidance.
Create a safe, positive, and nurturing classroom environment where children feel comfortable to learn, explore, and express themselves.
Observe and support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Communicate and collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to support children's learning and overall well-being.
Communicate with parents regarding children's progress and development when needed.
About you
Minimum Bachelor's degree (S1) in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) or a related field.
Previous teaching experience in a preschool or kindergarten setting is preferred.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Passionate about Early Childhood Education and working with young children.
Patient, caring, responsible, and able to build positive relationships with children.
Willing to continuously learn, grow, and develop professionally.
Experience with play-based learning is highly preferred.
Ability to play a musical instrument is a plus.
