Job summary

Mighty Minds Preschool in Jakarta Raya is seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher to create engaging, nurturing and enriching learning experiences for our youngest learners. This full-time role focuses on holistic development and a play-based curriculum in a supportive school community.

You will plan age-appropriate activities, observe progress, collaborate with colleagues and families to support individual growth, foster a safe and inclusive classroom, and contribute to health and wellbeing

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience teaching in a preschool or early years setting.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering the holistic development of young learners.
• Flexible, adaptable and open to continuous learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering age-appropriate, stimulating lessons and activities that support the physical, cognitive, social and emotional growth of preschool students
• Implementing a play-based, child-centred curriculum that aligns with the school's educational philosophy and national early years learning frameworks
• Observing and documenting student progress, and using assessments to inform individualised instruction and support
• Fostering positive relationships with students, parents and the wider school community
• Collaborating with the teaching team to continuously improve teaching practices and the preschool learning environment
• Ensuring a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes student wellbeing
