Qualifications

Role Description

The PPDS Education Consultant at Studentnesia is a part-time remote role focused on supporting prospective PPDS (specialist medical education) students throughout their educational journey. The consultant will provide personalized guidance on program selection, admission requirements and study pathways, and scholarship.

Responsibilities

• Provide structured guidance and mentorship to participants in preparing for Specialist Medical Education Programs, including document preparation, essay review, and interview preparation.
• Deliver constructive, relevant, and actionable feedback to support participants’ academic and professional development.
• Assist participants in developing effective study strategies, preparation plans, and problem-solving approaches aligned with their individual goals.
• Monitor and evaluate participants’ progress throughout the preparation process and provide progress updates or reports when required.
• Foster participants’ active engagement, confidence, and readiness throughout the preparation process.
• Maintain a professional, conducive, disciplined, and productive learning environment throughout each mentoring session.

Qualifications

• Hold a medical degree and have completed professional medical training, and be a licensed medical doctor (Dokter/MD), or be currently enrolled in a Specialist Medical Education Program (PPDS).
• Have been awarded a scholarship to pursue a Specialist Medical Education Program (PPDS).
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and constructive guidance.
• Have prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or facilitating learning in an online environment.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting participants in achieving their academic and professional goals.
• Possess a reliable device and stable internet connection to effectively conduct online mentoring sessions.
