Job summary

PT Katup Industri Indonesia is seeking a Production Planner to develop and monitor schedules aligned with customer orders, capacity, and delivery needs. You will coordinate with Warehouse, Purchasing, and Production teams to secure materials and ensure timely manufacturing.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, at least 3 years in PPC within valve manufacturing, and strong SAP/ERP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in PPC, preferably in valve manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of valve manufacturing processes and shop floor operations.
• Proficiency with SAP or ERP planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor production planning schedules based on orders, capacity, and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Purchasing, and Production teams to ensure material readiness.
• Review and approve Purchase Requisitions to secure materials.
• Issue and control job orders and monitor shop floor execution.
• Lead cross-functional coordination between Warehouse, Production, QC, and Engineering.
• Participate in Production Daily Operation meetings and follow up on requirements.
• Oversee capacity planning, analyze bottlenecks, and drive improvements.
• Ensure SAP data accuracy for stock levels, production orders, BOM, and routing.
• Prepare regular reports on production performance and inventory for Management.

Job description

Develop and monitor production planning schedules based on customer orders, production capacity, and delivery requirements.

Coordinate with Warehouse, Purchasing, and Production teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and finished goods.

Review and approve Purchase Requisitions (PR) in coordination with the Purchasing team to secure material readiness.

Issue and control job orders, monitor their execution on the shop floor, and ensure alignment with the production plan.

Lead coordination between Warehouse, Production, QC, and Engineering to support smooth material and production flow.

Participate in Production Daily Operation (PDO) meetings and follow up on material requirements and production schedules.

Oversee capacity planning, analyze production bottlenecks, and provide solutions for continuous improvement.

Ensure accurate and up-to-date SAP data related to stock levels, production orders, BOM, and routing.

Prepare regular reports on production performance, inventory status, and planning results for Management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in PPC, preferably in Valve Manufacturing Industry.

Strong understanding of Valve manufacturing processes, and shop floor operations.

Proficiency in SAP system or ERP planning tools.

Solid knowledge of Bills of Materials (BOM), routing, and job order structures.

Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and preferably API standards.
