Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field within the sciences.
• Minimum 3 years of laboratory experience, preferably in vaccine development or virology.
• Hands-on expertise with cell culture, viral assays, and molecular biology (PCR, ELISA).
• Familiarity with animal handling and in vivo studies, especially poultry.
• Knowledge of biosafety and GLP principles; strong documentation practices.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to interpret data.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office.
• Team player who can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory procedures for vaccine development, including cell culture, viral propagation, antigen purification, and formulation.
• Conduct in vitro and in vivo efficacy and safety testing of experimental vaccine candidates.
• Prepare and maintain detailed records of procedures, results, and observations.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring calibration and function.
• Assist in development and optimization of new lab techniques and protocols.
• Analyze data, interpret results, and prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Ensure strict biosafety compliance, GLP, and SOP adherence.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to scientific discussions and problem solving.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace.
