Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as Pool Cleaner or similar pool maintenance role.

• Physically fit for regular manual labour.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Pool Cleaner to join Amaar Bali on a part-time basis in Balangan, Bali (Uluwatu). This role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness, safety and hygiene of our swimming pool facilities, ensuring an enjoyable and healthy environment for all users. As a Pool Cleaner, you will play a vital role in upholding our high standards of facility maintenance and contributing to the overall experience of our clients and guests.

Key responsibilities

Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks including skimming debris from the pool surface, brushing walls and floor, and removing algae buildup

Test and balance pool water chemistry, including chlorine levels, pH and alkalinity, ensuring water quality meets health and safety standards

Operate and maintain pool equipment such as filters, pumps and vacuum systems

Empty and clean skimmer baskets, pump baskets and filter systems on a regular schedule

Inspect pool areas for hazards and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management immediately

Keep detailed records of cleaning activities, chemical treatments and maintenance performed

Maintain a clean and organised pool deck and surrounding areas, removing litter and ensuring safety

Follow all health, safety and environmental regulations related to pool maintenance and chemical handling

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Pool Cleaner or in a similar pool maintenance role

Knowledge of pool chemistry and water treatment procedures, with certification in pool maintenance preferred

Proficiency in operating pool cleaning equipment and maintenance machinery

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards

Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions

Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour tasks regularly

Reliability and punctuality, with availability for scheduled part-time shifts

Good communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude

Knowledge of Indonesian pool safety regulations and standards is advantageous
