Job summary

Qualifications

• BSc in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Polymer Science, or related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 3 years of relevant experience encouraged.
• Exposure to adhesives, sealants, or coating systems is advantageous.
• Good command of English and ability to communicate technical information.
• Able to work in an international, matrix organization.
• Well-organized, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory safety practices and Microsoft Office applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support testing of adhesives, coatings, and related applications; implement new test methods.
• Assist in sourcing raw materials/equipment and troubleshooting customer problems.
• Maintain day-to-day laboratory operations, inventory management, and documentation control.
• Support formulation development, testing, and customer-related projects.
• Assist in implementing WACKER EH&S standards and local regulations.
• Ensure lab is clean, safe, and compliant with SOPs; update SOPs as needed.
• Support packing, shipment of samples and prototypes for internal and external stakeholders.
