Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd in Indonesia seeks a Plant Manager to plan, organize, direct and coordinate daily operations of a wood manufacturing plant (PPIC, Production, Maintenance and QA) in Central Java.

You will oversee production, ensure quality and on-time shipping, manage budgets and procurement, implement preventive maintenance, and drive productivity and asset utilization with a focus on cost efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering with 10+ years in wood working plant or feed mill.
• Experience in handling plant commissioning is a must.
• Knowledge of production machinery troubleshooting and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and coordinate daily operations of wood manufacturing plant (PPIC, Production, Maintenance and QA)
• Oversee overall production activities to ensure quality and efficiency targets are met
• Responsible for wood production output, product quality and on-time shipping
• Manage plant financials such as budgets, purchasing, capital, etc. to meet/exceed business expectations.
• Implement a cost-effective preventative maintenance program to maintain production equipment in an efficient, safe operating, manner.
• Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
• Lead new initiatives as assigned, includes productivity, efficiency and certification compliance
