Job summary

PT Suri Tani Pemuka (JAPFA GROUP) invites a driven Plant Manager to lead our Medan aquafeed facility. You will plan, manage, and optimize production targets, while upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong production management skills, team leadership, and cost analysis. You will develop strategies, manage budgets, and mentor employees to sustain manufacturing excellence in North Sumatra.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin ability is a plus.
• 6+ years supervising or 3+ years as Manager in manufacturing/FMCG.
• Based in Medan, North Sumatra.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and ensure achievement of production targets in quality and quantity.
• Lead, direct, monitor, and evaluate the Plant team's performance.
• Analyze production costs, identify problems, and develop strategies and solutions.
• Prepare investment plans, manage budgets, and support operational and business development.

Exciting opportunity for a driven Plant Manager to join the dynamic team at PT Suri Tani Pemuka (JAPFA GROUP), a leading Company in the aquaculture industry. In this role based in Medan, you will be responsible for planning, managing, analyzing problems and develop effective strategies to ensure achievement of production targets.

About the role

As a Plant Manager at PT Suri Tani Pemuka (JAPFA GROUP), you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and effective operations of our feed production facility (Aquafeed) in Medan, North Sumatra. This position will see you managing all aspects of the Plant, from production planning to ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality. Your strategic leadership will be fundamental in driving the company's manufacturing excellence and meeting our ambitious growth objectives.

What you'll be doing

Plan, manage, and ensure achievement of production targets in terms of quality and quantity.

Lead, direct, monitor, and evaluate the performance of the Plant team to ensure operational effectiveness.

Analyze Production Plant operational costs, identify problems, and develop effective strategies and solutions.

Prepare investment plans, manage budgets, and support operational and business development.

Develop employees, ensure a safe and healthy work environment, and make sure K3 and 5S standards are implemented with continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Fluent in English (Ability to speak Mandarin will be an advantage)

Has minimum 6 years of Supervisor or minimum 3 years Manager experience in a manufacturing plant, FMCG or related field.

Willing to be placed in Medan, North Sumatera.

Strong technical knowledge of production management with proven team leadership, problem solving and decision making skills.
