Job summary

TRIPATRA is seeking a Planning Engineer for a project-based agreement. You will understand project scope, contracts, tasks, and timeline across engineering, procurement, and construction, and develop Work Breakdown Structures to track progress, scheduling and costs.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 15+ years in Planning & Scheduling, plus experience in oil & gas or EPC projects, with knowledge of project controls and tools such as Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related major.
• 15+ years of experience in Planning & Scheduling engineering.
• Experience in planning, scheduling, or project control within oil & gas, fabrication/yard, EPC, or construction projects.
• Knowledge of project engineering practices, design details, international codes & standards, procedures, and specifications.
• Experience in developing procurement/contracting strategies for brownfield/revamp projects.
• Project management or planning tool certification (e.g., PMP, Primavera P6).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate milestone dates and ensure proper scheduling including track schedule issues, report delays, and suggest solutions.
• Review and monitor progress in all areas like engineering, fabrication, and construction.
• Identify and address gaps between planned and actual progress.
• Perform risk analysis for project completion and alternatives.
• Implement monitoring processes like KPIs, earned value, and resource tracking.
• Analyze changes and assess risks, costs, and delays.
• Maintain communication with the project team, client, and PMO.
