Klinik Agatha in Indonesia is seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist with at least 1 year of combined clinical, internship, or work experience in physiotherapy or rehabilitation services.

The ideal candidate should handle neurological, musculoskeletal, sports injuries, and mobility-related conditions, with hydrotherapy exposure highly preferred. You will work with doctors and healthcare professionals to deliver individualized, safe rehab programs and maintain clinical documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy.
• Indonesian Physiotherapist Registration Certificate (STR) preferred/required for independent practice.
• Minimum 1 year of combined physiotherapy experience (clinical, internship, or work).
• Exposure to hydrotherapy/aquatic therapy is a strong advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; patient-focused and professional.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and professional Physiotherapist with at least 1 year of combined clinical, internship, or work experience in physiotherapy or rehabilitation services.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling patients with neurological, musculoskeletal, sports injury, post-operative, and mobility-related conditions. Previous exposure to hydrotherapy or aquatic rehabilitation is highly preferred.

The Physiotherapist will work closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals to provide individualized, safe, and effective rehabilitation programs while maintaining high standards of patient care and clinical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide physiotherapy interventions for neurological, musculoskeletal, sports injury, post-operative, and mobility-related conditions.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises, functional training, gait and balance training, and other appropriate rehabilitation interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment programs based on clinical response and rehabilitation goals.
• Perform or assist with hydrotherapy / aquatic therapy sessions when required.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding rehabilitation goals, exercises, mobility, and home programs.
• Work closely with rehabilitation physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records, treatment notes, and patient progress documentation.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and professionalism throughout treatment sessions.
• Maintain treatment areas, rehabilitation equipment, and therapy tools in proper condition.
• Participate in case discussions, clinical meetings, and service improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy.
• Possession of a valid Indonesian Physiotherapist Registration Certificate (STR) is preferred / required for independent clinical practice.
• Minimum 1 year of combined physiotherapy experience, which may include:
• Professional work experience
• Clinical internship
• Hospital or rehabilitation center placement
• Structured physiotherapy training
• Candidates should have previous hands-on exposure to patient assessment and treatment.
• Experience handling neurological rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation, musculoskeletal conditions, or sports injuries is preferred.
• Experience or training in hydrotherapy / aquatic therapy is a strong advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient-oriented, responsible, and professional.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.

Preferred Candidate Profile

We are particularly interested in candidates who have previously worked or trained in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, physiotherapy clinics, sports clinics, or similar healthcare environments.

Candidates with experience in stroke rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, gait and balance training, sports injury management, or hydrotherapy will be given additional consideration.
