Job summary

Siloam Hospitals Group (Tbk) is seeking a professional Occupational Therapist to deliver rehabilitation programs within our physiotherapy department in Cikarang, West Java. The role focuses on assessing patients, selecting modalities, and coordinating care with physicians to support healing and functional recovery.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma of D3 in Occupational Therapy with at least 1 year of experience and is proficient in manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.

Qualifications

• Diploma D3 in Occupational Therapy and registration is required.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Proficiency in physiotherapy techniques including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.

Responsibilities

• Carry out physiotherapy rehabilitation plans to support patient healing.
• Attend pre-appointment briefings to gather patient information.
• Check tool readiness and cleanliness at each shift start.
• Receive patients following hospital service standards.
• Assess patient condition to plan therapy and select modalities.
• Analyze assessment data to align program with doctor’s plan.
• Explain procedures, duration, and effects to patients to educate.
• Deliver therapy per procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Educate patients and families on home care and scheduling.
• Document patient files before, during, after procedures.
• Collect data/reports for department accountability.
• Support quality and safety through training and data collection.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Carry out Medical Rehabilitation service programs and plans related to physiotherapy services in accordance with service standards and procedures as well as applicable laws and regulations to support the patient's healing and recovery process
• Attend briefings before scheduled patient appointments to obtain information regarding previous operational conditions
• Check the function and cleanliness of tools at the start of each shift to ensure all tools used comply with standards
• Receive patients using service standards set by the Hospital to ensure consistency of service received by patients
• Carrying out an assessment regarding the condition and complaints of discomfort experienced by the patient in determining a diagnosis to plan the program and actions that will be given to the patient and selecting physiotherapy modalities
• Analyzing integrated information from patient assessment data to determine the suitability of the physiotherapy program programmed by the doctor with the assessment results
• Explain the procedure to be given, the length of time, and the effects of the procedure to the patient to ensure that the patient receives complete initial education
• Carry out the physiotherapy program in accordance with established procedures until completion to ensure patient comfort and safety during the process action takes place
• Educate patients and their families/companions after the procedure regarding home care and schedule the next session to ensure the continuity of the patient's healing process
• Carry out complete documentation of patient files before, during and after procedures as evaluation material to improve subsequent medical rehabilitation services
• Collect required data and/or make reports related to operational activities as accountability to superiors
• Implement procedures and practices for quality and safety services, including attending training, collecting data, documenting and/or making reports needed to support the achievement of hospital wide indicators and related department/unit targets

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) Degree from Occupational Therapy
• Occupational Therapy
• Have minimum 1 year work experience as Occupational Therapist
• Proficiency in physiotherapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and various modalities.
• Ability to develop tailored treatment solutions to address complex physical impairments and functional limitations.
• Strong skills in assessing patient conditions, diagnosing physical impairments, and developing effective treatment plans.
