Job summary

Siloam Hospitals Group is seeking a pharmacy professional to support outpatient and inpatient services. The role involves receiving prescriptions, compounding, dispensing, and providing patient counseling while ensuring adherence to hospital standards.

You will handle inventory, data entry, and reporting, collaborating with multiple departments to maintain service quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3 in Pharmacy.
• Have minimum 1 year work experience in the same field.
• Proficiency in pharmacy technology, including automated dispensing systems and electronic health records.
• High attention to detail for accurate medication preparation and documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, such as handling prescriptions and maintaining inventory, efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Receive prescriptions, compound and prepare medicines, and distribute medicines for inpatients and outpatients.
• Serve pharmacy customers at the counter and provide information on medicines and pricing.
• Check prescriptions for accuracy against doctor’s orders and label medicines correctly.
• Explain how to use medications and advise on storage and potential effects to patients and families.
• Manage stock, input transactions, and report operational data for accountability.
