Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum Vocational High School Graduate from Pharmacy.
• 1 year of work experience in the field preferred.
• Proficiency with pharmacy technology including automated dispensing systems and electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Receive prescriptions, compound and prepare medicines for inpatient and outpatient use.
• Data entry and medication labeling; verify name, type and alternatives.
• Check and sign off on drug requests and invoices for central pharmacy.
• Monitor inventory; ensure accuracy of daily prescriptions and documentation.
• Provide patient counseling on usage, storage and effects of medications.
