Job summary

Hilton in Indonesia is seeking a Chef de Partie - Pastry to lead the pastry station, preparing and presenting high-quality desserts and pastries. You will supervise line cooks, maintain cleanliness, and ensure safety and hospitality standards throughout the kitchen.

You will also contribute to cost management, mentor junior staff, and uphold health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations to deliver memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school graduation with experience in a 5-star hotel or high-end restaurant.
• At least 1 year as a Demi Chef de Partie or equivalent in an international brand hotel.
• Proficient in Western or Chinese cuisine with expertise in various cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of seafood/meat processing, cooked food handling, and storage standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare great tasting dishes according to standard recipes, ensuring consistency.
• Supervise the kitchen team and assist in the absence of senior chefs.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination.
• Ensure food quality, proper storage, and stock rotation.
