The role requires a minimum of 3 years in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant, with at least 1 year as a Demi Chef de Partie or equivalent in an international brand hotel. Strong pastry and broad cooking techniques are essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with at least 3 years of experience in a 5-star hotel or high-end restaurant.
• At least 1 year as a Demi Chef de Partie or equivalent in an international brand hotel.
• Proficient in Western or Chinese cuisine, with expertise in various cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of seafood/meat processing, cooking, storing, and receiving standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare great tasting dishes and follow standard recipes for taste and presentation.
• Supervise line cooks and support the kitchen team.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination.
• Ensure ingredient quality, proper storage, and stock rotation.
• Assist with cost management to help meet departmental financial targets.
• Inspire and develop the team through coaching and performance monitoring.
• Uphold health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
