Job summary

PT Vinfast Automobile Indonesia seeks a Paint Shop Maintenance Engineer to support equipment reliability and maintenance activities in our Paint Shop operations. You will perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance for Paint Shop equipment, troubleshoot PLC, electrical, pneumatic/hydraulic, and automation systems, and support ABB robotic systems to minimize downtime.

The role requires a Diploma/Bachelor in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field,

Qualifications

Diploma/Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field.
Experience in automotive manufacturing maintenance.
Experience with Paint Shop equipment or industrial robots is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of PLC, electrical/mechanical systems, pneumatic/hydraulic, and automation.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Willing to work 6 days with 3-shift system.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance for Paint Shop equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic/hydraulic, and automation systems.
Support maintenance and troubleshooting of painting equipment and ABB robotic systems.
Monitor equipment performance and identify potential failures to minimize downtime.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring equipment issues.
