Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor maintenance tasks.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor tank levels, temperatures, and pressures, and record data accurately.
• Operate pumps, valves, and other equipment to transfer liquids between tanks, trucks, and vessels.
• Conduct routine inspections of tanks, pipelines, and related equipment for leaks or damage.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters and lubricating valves.
• Collect samples for quality control testing and ensure proper labeling.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and emergency procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in the tank farm.
• Communicate status and issues with supervisors and colleagues.
• Complete required documentation and reports accurately and promptly.

Responsibilities

The Operator, Tank Farm is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the tank farm facilities, ensuring proper storage, transfer, and handling of raw materials and finished products in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.

Job Responsibilities**

• Monitor tank levels, temperatures, and pressures, and record data accurately.
• Operate pumps, valves, and other equipment to facilitate the transfer of liquids between tanks, trucks, and vessels.
• Conduct routine inspections of tanks, pipelines, and associated equipment for leaks, damage, and operational integrity.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters, lubricating valves, and reporting equipment malfunctions.
• Collect samples of products for quality control testing and ensure proper labeling.
• Adhere to all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols and emergency response plans.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area within the tank farm.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and external personnel regarding operational status and potential issues.
• Complete all required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Job Qualifications**

• Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor maintenance tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb stairs and ladders, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
