Job summary

RGE invites applications for a leadership role supervising fatty acid refinery operations. You will oversee daily production targets, ensure product quality, and drive efficiency across the plant.

Lead a team of production operators, coordinate with maintenance and QA, and uphold HSE standards while pursuing continuous improvement and cost reductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fatty acid, oleochemical, with min 1 year supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of fatty acid production processes and continuous plant operations.
• Familiar with DCS/SCADA, production planning, and process optimization.
• Strong understanding of HSE standards, PSM, and ISO management systems.
• Good leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fatty acid refinery operations to meet production targets and quality.
• Monitor and optimize distillation, fractionation, deodorization, and utilities.
• Ensure HSE standards through safety inspections and incident investigations.
• Lead and coach production operators to maintain performance and smooth handovers.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to minimize downtime.
• Prepare production reports and drive KPI-based continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily fatty acid refinery operations to ensure production targets, product quality, and operational efficiency are achieved.
• Monitor and optimize refinery processes, including distillation, fractionation, deodorization, and utility consumption, while troubleshooting process deviations.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards by enforcing safe work practices, conducting safety inspections, and participating in incident investigations.
• Lead, coach, and develop production operators to maintain high performance, operational discipline, and effective shift handovers.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality Control, and Engineering teams to minimize downtime, ensure equipment reliability, and resolve production issues.
• Prepare production reports, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, yield, quality, and cost efficiency.
