Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking an Operations Manager in Jakarta to lead and optimize end-to-end operations across sales, product, tech, finance and support. You will implement SOPs, improve workflows, and drive scalable processes to support rapid growth.

This role reports to the CEO and requires strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of managerial experience in fintech or SaaS, with Mandarin and English language proficiency for business communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience leading and scaling operations within fintech, payment solutions, SaaS, technology, or fast-growth startups.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional operational teams and implementing operational excellence initiatives.
• Strong understanding of process design, workflow optimization, SOP development, and business process improvement.
• Experience managing operational budgets, resource planning, and cost-efficiency programs.
• Excellent project management, organizational planning, and execution capabilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with ability to identify risks and implement solutions.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and team development skills.
• Professional proficiency in Mandarin for business communication and reporting is required.
• Working proficiency in English for cross-functional collaboration and business communication.
• Highly adaptable, proactive, solution-oriented in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee end-to-end business operations to ensure efficient daily execution and scalability.
• Design, implement, maintain, and continuously improve SOPs and workflow frameworks.
• Build, coach, and develop high-performing operations teams with accountability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Technology, Finance, and Customer Support to align operational execution with business goals.
• Monitor operational performance, identify inefficiencies, and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop operational strategies to improve productivity, service quality, and customer experience.
• Manage departmental budgets and implement cost optimization while maintaining effectiveness.
• Identify risks, bottlenecks, and execution gaps; implement sustainable solutions.
• Prepare operational reports, metrics, and recommendations for executive leadership.
• Support growth by developing scalable operational structures for long-term expansion.
