Job summary

J&T Express is seeking a logistics operations coordinator in Jakarta Pusat. You will receive orders, coordinate with customs, schedule deliveries, and track cargo real-time to ensure smooth transport.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor in logistics or international trade, good English, and familiarity with Indonesian delivery and fleet operations. Mandarin is a plus, and strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive, register and sort customer orders; coordinate with customs clearance; synchronize cargo status.
• Schedule vehicles and arrange deliveries; allocate resources for on-time delivery.
• Track cargo transit, warehousing, delivery and sign-off; update status in real time.
• Handle logistics exceptions (traffic delay, detention, vehicle shortage, damage) and reduce complaints.
• Sort daily operation data; submit daily/weekly reports (on-time delivery, fleet fulfillment, abnormal orders).
• Communicate with customers, drivers and local fleets for coordination and data verification.
• Cooperate with customs clearance to arrange transfer after release; ensure seamless process.

Job Description:

• Receive, register and sort customer orders, coordinate with the customs clearance team, and synchronize all cargo status information.
• Responsible for vehicle scheduling and delivery arrangement, rationally allocate delivery resources to ensure on-time delivery.
• Track the whole process of cargo transit, warehousing, delivery and sign-off, and update logistics status in real time.
• Timely handle logistics exceptions such as traffic delay, cargo detention, vehicle shortage and cargo damage, complete problem closed-loop and reduce customer complaints.
• Sort out daily operation data including on-time delivery rate, vehicle fulfillment rate and abnormal orders, submit daily and weekly reports.
• Communicate with customers, drivers and local fleets for daily operation coordination and data verification.
• Cooperate with the customs clearance team to arrange cargo transfer after release, ensuring seamless logistics process.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/Bachelor, logistics and international trade major is preferred, fresh graduates are acceptable.
• Good English skill is priority: basic English are acceptable. Fluent in Mandarin is a plus point.
• Proficient in computer and Excel.
• Familiar with Indonesian local delivery and fleet operation is preferred; freight forwarding working experience is a plus.
• Good at communication, problem solving, team oriented and analytical thinking.
