Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a Process Improvement lead to drive operational excellence across our knowledge organization. You will lead projects to establish or improve processes and metrics, ensuring outputs meet customer needs and reinforce quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, Lean Six Sigma expertise, and a track record of training production teams and guiding cross-functional teams to implement sustainable improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years leading small to mid-sized process improvement projects.
• 6+ years overall experience in process optimization or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience providing training to production teams on new processes.

Responsibilities

• Enable UL Solutions knowledge activities with defined processes, policies, and procedures.
• Develop, optimize and improve processes to enhance productivity and drive efficiencies and consistency.
• Develop/improve metrics, monitor and analyze data to ensure sustained and continuous process improvement.
• Perform process capability studies, statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making to achieve operational excellence.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Provide training and guidance to production teams on new processes, procedures and equipment.
• Performs other duties as directed.
