Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Operation Executive (Chinese Language) in Subang, Indonesia, to manage customer relationships and drive operational excellence across the CE business. You will coordinate with internal teams and vendors, ensuring service performance and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in any discipline; Logistics or related fields preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; other MS Office apps beneficial.
• Additional logistics, supply chain, or customer operations certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure long-term partnerships and retention.
• Serve as the key operational contact for day-to-day account management.
• Ensure customer requests and operational requirements are fulfilled efficiently.
• Conduct regular customer reviews to monitor performance and identify improvements.
• Monitor SLAs and KPIs; coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
• Analyze performance data and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and service quality.
• Support continuous improvement and operational excellence programs.
• Gather daily, weekly, and monthly forecasting information across divisions.
• Align demand forecasts with planning and resource requirements.
• Work with site management to ensure readiness and optimal resources.
• Support strategic account development initiatives.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives; monitor costs and propose efficiency gains.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term partnership and retention.
• Act as the key operational contact for customers and support day-to-day account management activities.

Operational Performance & Service Excellence

• Monitor and control operational performance to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs are achieved.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs.

Forecasting & Business Coordination

• Communicate with customers across divisions to gather daily, weekly, and monthly forecasting information.
• Align customer demand forecasts with operational planning and resource requirements.
• Work closely with site management teams to ensure operational readiness and resource optimization.
• Support strategic account development initiatives.

Cost Management & Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives within the operation.
• Monitor operational costs and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Support financial forecasting, budgeting, and operational performance reviews.
• Contribute to account profitability and sustainable business growth.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Maintain effective communication with vendors and customers to ensure smooth operational execution.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve operational issues and improve service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with DHL quality, safety, security, and operational standards.
• Support organic business growth through excellent customer service and operational execution.

Team Collaboration & Development

What We're Looking For

Education

• Minimum Diploma Degree from any discipline, preferably Logistics or Supply Chain-related fields
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Additional logistics, supply chain, or customer operations certifications are advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Customer Operations environments
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Operational Executive or similar role
• Experience managing customer relationships and operational performance
• Understanding of Chinese business culture and customer engagement practices
