Job summary

Weir Minerals Indonesia is seeking a Technical Customer Service Supervisor to oversee on-site pumping and cyclone performance on Sumbawa Island or Jakarta rosters. The role is on-site with a 10 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule, requiring travel to remote sites and strong customer liaison skills.

You will lead field service activities, coordinate repairs with engineering, forecast spare parts, and produce technical reports on equipment performance, safety, and uptime to support our customers’

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Instrumentation.
• Experience with pumps, rotating equipment, and mechanical fault analysis in mining or heavy industry.
• Proven ability to work on remote sites on a roster basis and deliver technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support and on-site troubleshooting of pumps and cyclones.
• Act as on-site company representative, building customer relationships and guiding technical issues.
• Coordinate repairs, parts replacement, and solutions with engineering teams to maintain operations.
• Support spare parts forecasting and planning to reduce downtime.
• Deliver technical reports and insights on equipment performance.
• Uphold safety practices as part of zero-harm culture.
