PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join our client’s mining project in Papua New Guinea. The role requires end-to-end procurement coordination, supplier management, and effective cross-functional collaboration with operations, logistics, and finance.

You will manage requisitions, quotations, POs, logistics, and supplier performance while ensuring governance and budget compliance in a remote, fast-paced mining environment.

Competenze

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years procurement experience, preferably in mining, heavy industry, or similar operational settings.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes, supplier management, and governance.

Mansioni

• Coordinate the complete procurement lifecycle from requisition to close-out.
• Review requisitions for completeness, accuracy, and policy compliance.
• Source quotations from approved suppliers and conduct market comparisons for value.
• Support negotiations on pricing, delivery and terms.
• Raise and monitor Purchase Orders using ERP and procurement systems.
• Track supplier progress to minimize delays and issues.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding and performance monitoring.
• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, invoicing and contract compliance.
• Coordinate logistics including shipping, customs, import coordination and delivery tracking.
• Collaborate with warehouse and operations to monitor inventory and support replenishment planning.
• Assist Finance with matching POs, invoices and goods receipts and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain procurement records and support audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and cost efficiency.
