MatchaTalent seeks a Procurement Coordinator to support end-to-end procurement for a major mining operation in Papua New Guinea. You will work with operations, logistics, finance, and suppliers to ensure timely sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of goods and services.

The role requires strong negotiation, supplier management, and ERP proficiency, with a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, or Commerce and 3–5 years of relevant experience.

Competenze

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce.
• 3–5 years procurement experience, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes and governance.

Mansioni

• Coordinate end-to-end procurement from requisition to close-out.
• Review requisitions for completeness and policy compliance.
• Source competitive quotations and conduct market comparisons for value for money.
• Support negotiations on pricing, delivery, and supplier terms.
• Raise and manage Purchase Orders using ERP systems.
• Monitor supplier progress and expedite critical procurement activities.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with operations, logistics, and finance to ensure uninterrupted supply.
• Maintain procurement records and support audits.
