Job summary

SKC Law, a leading intellectual property specialist law firm, is seeking an Online Researcher to join our Enforcement & Intelligence Team to identify counterfeit sellers on Indonesian platforms and gather intelligence for enforcement actions.

Candidates should have a Diploma or Bachelor's degree (Criminology preferred), strong OSINT skills, familiarity with e-commerce, and fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia. Excellent report writing and attention to detail are essential.

Role Overview

As an Online Researcher in our Enforcement & Intelligence Team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and tracking online sellers engaging in the sale of counterfeit products on platforms commonly used by Indonesian consumers. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct detailed research and gather intelligence to support our enforcement efforts against infringers. By identifying key targets, you will contribute to our proactive approach in safeguarding our clients' intellectual property rights.

Candidates requirements

Diploma or bachelor's degree – graduates in Criminology are preferred.

Strong research, investigative and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and evaluate data and digital evidence effectively - proficiency in using open-source intelligence (OSINT) tools is a plus.

Familiarity with online e-commerce and social media platforms commonly used by Indonesian consumers - relevant professional experience is a plus.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify patterns and trends.

Fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Strong communication and evidence-based report writing skills.

Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaborate within a team.
