KIORCC (www.kiorcc.org) is an Inter-Governmental Organization established in 2019 between the government of the Republic of Korea, under the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, and the government of the Republic of Indonesia, under the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries. KIORCC’s main objective is to bridge collaborations between the governments and industries of both nations in the Offshore, Maritime, Fisheries, and Energy sectors.
KIORCC’s main objectives currently include:
- Government-to-government Research and Development in the reutilization of offshore platforms;
- Official Development Assistance in human resource development in the offshore plant service sector;
- Business-to-business project bridging and facilitation, along with related agreement support;
- Support legal and market studies for interested foreign business players and investors;
- Promote and facilitate business-to-business collaborations in the oil & gas/energy sector between Korean and Indonesian stakeholders; and
- Building industry networks with other South-East Asian countries.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's / Master’s Degree in Law from a reputable university.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in the legal field is preferable.
- Excellent writing and speaking in English and Bahasa Indonesia. Having communication skills in Korean is an added value.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office.
- Possess strong abilities in problem-solving and adaptation to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, as well as being capable of efficiently communicating with a team, and have a strong commitment to learning.
- Displays strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and/or review government-to-government and business-to-business agreements;
- Provide legal consultations, recommendations, and research for Koreancompanies wishing to enter the Indonesian market;
- Maintaining government relations and network;
- Produce legal reports (quarterly, annually, sectoral, etc.);
- Monitor and facilitate projects and programs;
- Join meetings and events, provide presentations, and develop minutes of meetings; and
- Supporting administrative duties related to office operations.
