Job summary

MatchaTalent seeks a Procurement Coordinator for on-site operations in Papua New Guinea. You will manage end-to-end procurement, coordinate with operations, logistics, and finance, and ensure compliance with budgets and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes and governance.
• Experience with supplier management and procurement administration.
• English working proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the complete procurement lifecycle from requisition through PO issuance, delivery, receipt, and close-out.
• Review requisitions for completeness, accuracy and policy compliance.
• Source quotations, conduct market comparisons, and negotiate terms.
• Raise and monitor Purchase Orders using ERP and procurement systems.
• Track supplier progress and expedite critical procurement activities to minimize delays.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding, qualification, and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with operations, logistics, warehouse, and finance to support replenishment and audits.
