Job summary

Flex is seeking an Offline Operations Supervisor to lead PVS, MH, offline feeder preparation and RTS activities supporting SMT and PCBA production at our Batam site. You will verify parts, manage feeder prep, coordinate shifts, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure ERP transactions are completed accurately.

• Plan and supervise feeder preparation, setup validation and changeover readiness
• Allocate manpower, manage shift priorities, coach personnel and ensure training compliance
• Monitor material availability, inventory accuracy, RTS compliance, shortages and downtime
• Control material issue, kitting, staging, and movement between warehouse and SMT lines
• Ensure unused material is identified and returned via ERP transactions
• Support audits, enforce quality and safety requirements

Offline Operations Supervisor (PVS, MH & RTS)

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we’re calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

About the role

The Offline Operations Supervisor leads Part Verification System (PVS), Material Handling (MH), offline feeder preparation and Return-to-Stock (RTS) activities supporting SMT and PCBA production. The role ensures verified material, on-time setup readiness, accurate inventory transactions, full traceability and safe, uninterrupted production support.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure correct part, BOM/revision and barcode verification before feeder loading and production release; address verification failures
• Plan and supervise feeder preparation, setup validation and changeover readiness in line with the production schedule
• Allocate manpower, manage shift priorities, conduct daily communication, coach personnel and maintain training compliance
• Monitor material availability, setup readiness, inventory accuracy, RTS compliance, shortages and material-related downtime
• Control material issue, kitting, staging, replenishment and movement between warehouse, offline area and SMT lines
• Ensure unused material is identified, protected, counted and returned through accurate, timely ERP transactions
• Enforce ESD, MSD, traceability, quality, safety and applicable customer/site requirements; support audits and corrective actions
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Quality and Engineering; drive Lean improvements and problem solving

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or a related field
• 5 years of PCBA/SMT manufacturing experience preferred, including 2 years in a supervisory or team-lead role
• SMT material flow, PVS/barcode verification, feeder setup, inventory control, ERP/MES, ESD/MSD and root cause analysis
• Leadership, prioritization, problem solving, communication, collaboration, customer focus and results orientation
