Job summary

PT Summarecon Agung, Tbk. is seeking an Officer - Purchasing for our Makassar mall operations. The role focuses on vendor sourcing, quotations, and purchase order preparation in line with company procedures.

You will coordinate with user departments and suppliers to meet specifications, quality, price, and on-time delivery, and you will negotiate terms while monitoring orders and reporting on procurement performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management or related field.
• Fresh graduates welcome; experience is a plus.
• Understanding of purchasing processes, vendor management, and cost control.
• Ability to conduct vendor sourcing, price negotiation, and ensure timely fulfilment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related position will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of purchasing processes, procurement, vendor management, quotations, purchase orders, and basic cost control.
• Able to conduct vendor sourcing, quotation comparisons, price negotiations, and ensure goods and service requirements are fulfilled according to the established specifications, quality, and timeline.
• Strong communication, negotiation, analytical thinking, and attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Job Description:

• Perform the purchasing process, from vendor sourcing, quotation requests, and price comparisons to the preparation of purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
• Coordinate with user departments and vendors to ensure goods and service requirements are fulfilled according to the established specifications, quality, price, and timeline.
• Negotiate prices and terms with vendors and assist in obtaining competitive offers in line with the company’s budget.
• Monitor the ordering, delivery, and receipt of goods or services, and follow up on any issues that arise.
• Conduct vendor evaluation and documentation, and prepare purchasing reports to support an effective and efficient procurement process.
