Job summary

PT Omoway Technology Indonesia is seeking a Cost Accountant to support production costing, inventory management, and financial reporting at the OMOWAY Factory in Balaraja, Tangerang. The role involves coordinating with Production, Warehouse, Sales, Procurement, and Finance to ensure accurate cost data and smooth shipment-related processes.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment, strong Excel/Sheets skills, and familiarity with ERP systems.

Job description

Perform production cost accounting, including raw materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, and manufacturing overhead.

Record and reconcile material usage, purchase, return, production output, and scrap transactions.

Prepare monthly cost reports, inventory reports, and production cost analysis.

Conduct regular inventory and fixed asset stock counts and investigate discrepancies.

Monitor product unit cost, material usage, production waste, and other manufacturing costs.

Analyze cost variances and provide recommendations for cost control and operational efficiency.

Ensure proper documentation and accounting processes throughout the factory.

Support budget preparation and budget variance analysis.

Assist Warehouse and Sales teams with daily shipment processes, including checking orders, delivery documents, quantities, and product information.

Reconcile warehouse outbound records, shipment documents, and accounting records.

Assist in handling shipment discrepancies, including wrong shipments, missing items, returns, and exchanges.

Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Sales, Procurement, and Finance teams regarding financial and operational matters.

Support tax filing, audit, and financial checking by providing required data and documents.

Perform other factory finance-related duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Job Requirements :

Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Cost Accounting, preferably in a manufacturing/factory environment.

Strong understanding of production cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing accounting processes.

Familiar with raw material, WIP, finished goods, production output, and manufacturing overhead accounting.

Able to independently perform cost calculations, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and familiar with accounting or ERP systems.

Understanding of warehouse, inventory, and shipment processes is preferred.

Good analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.

Strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, and financial risk awareness.

Good communication and coordination skills with different departments.

Willing to work on-site at the factory and support operational activities related to shipments when required.

Experience in factory-based accounting / inventory reconciliation is preferred.

Mandarin proficiency is a plus.

Willing to work full-time on-site at OMOWAY Factory in Balaraja, Tangerang.

Willing to support daily factory shipment and warehouse-related activities when required.
